It would be cheaper to buy .300 Savage brass than to pay $248.00 for a set of reforming dies though. Hope you find some brass.
You may have something there. I have the 300 dies. I will only shoot this at targets, and will not hunt with it. My FIL's gun, so sentimental value. Less then 30 rounds per year most likely. So using the 300 dies might be my option. I have a trimmer, so that is likely my most economical option.
But I won't hunt with it, because I feel like I'm cheating on my 30-06 when I do that.
