Who brought up the sight company that makes the diamond tritium or paint dots instead of the circles?

Does anyone remember? I could see how those could help with "more accurate" handgun aiming. Minus Ben and the most tactical of operators, I don't think people are as accurate as a lot of the handguns out there.

The guy was just a linkbuilding spammer. Banhammer.

That list is weak anyways. Here's a better one:

I'd check Dawson first for Warren Tactical, as they usually have them in stock, plus they're in Texas.

Trijicon makes a majority of the actual tritium tubes most other manufacturers use, so they are pretty much the standard. That being said, they don't really offer much in the way of different options in comparison to some other manufacturers.

I like Ameriglo quite a bit. They have a significant number of configurations and sizes for both front and rear sights, so you can mix and match to come up with whatever config suits you best. Their sights are also well-made and durable. If you ever have questions or issues with any of their sights, their tech support is AWESOME. I once ran into an issue and talked to one of their guys, detailing the problem. His response clearly demonstrated a very in depth knowledge of the issue, what I needed to do to correct it, and he also sent me a replacement the same day, free of charge! They're great to deal with.

No real experience with Meprolight, so no comment there.

10-8 Performance makes excellent quality sights that are well built, rugged, and very corrosion resistant. They offer a few configurations, though they only have one main style for the front and rear. One nice option they offer, which might be out of the ordinary for a lot of people, is a brass bead front sight.

Warren's sights are very well made and durable. Personally, I'm a huge fan of his Sevigny series sights, and lately I've been using them on several of my Glocks. They offer a nice variety of configs, including "straight 8" style tritium, or just tritium front. One thing I really like about his sights, and particularly the Sevigny configuration, is the increased height over stock. Stock 9mm Glock front sights are .165" high. Sevigny front sights are either .215" or .245" high for standard barrel lengths or extended barrel lengths. I've found the added front sight height can be very beneficial (at least for me) when shooting at speed, as you are basically able to see more of the sight tracking through recoil and dropping back down into the rear notch, which has at least helped me in terms of "seeing faster". I'm not sure if that will make sense to most people, so let me know if I need to clarify.

Heinie also makes a wide range of configurations, and his sights are very well made, durable, and corrosion resistant.

Lastly, Dawson makes, by far, the largest number of options out of any aftermarket Glock sight manufacturer. Although there are only a handful of "styles", there are a HUGE number of front sight widths and heights. The great thing is, even if they're out of stock in a particular size, they will whip up a new set for you very quickly and usually have it out within a day or two. His sights are very well made, and the excellent thing about the sheer number of sizes is you can truly fine tune your sight picture to work best for your tastes.

I shot something once that had the straight 8 sights. Not sure why, but I liked them.

Trijicon HD sites are taking over the in LEO world it seems. Almost my entire team runs them now. We love big orange balls.

They're good quality sites. Only problem is, with the .140" wide front and the ~.180" wide rear notch, it's a sight configuration that isn't quite optimal for a good balance of speed and accuracy. At close range, not a big deal. For shots at distance, a significant percentage of the target starts getting obscured, offering a vague POA. For precise shots at closer ranges, they can even be a bit less than optimal IMO. .115" wide front and ~.150" rear notch, give or take a hundredth, seems to be a very optimal balance.

    In a bean bag?

It's a twist on an old joke.....

An old man goes to the doctor and says "Dr., I don't know what's wrong with me, my dick is orange."
The Dr. tells him to pull down his pants and let him take a look. He has no idea what is wrong so he asks the guy if he has recently painted anything orange. The old man said "No."

The Dr. thinks for a minute and then asks the guy if he has recently been exposed to any chemicals at work.

The old man said "No, I'm retired."

The Dr. then asks the guy if he could have been working with any chemicals in his garage.

The old man replied "No Dr., I told you, I'm retired. All I do is sit around all day, watch pornos and eat Cheetos...
