Just put the order in for (another) 3,750 count case of 9mm 124gr JHP at Montana Gold.

It's amazing how much you can shoot when you have so many on hand.

What's the cost per bullet shipped work out to(9mm projectiles not complete rds) ? How do they perform vs. rainier plated ? I like the concave bases of the rainier plated RN bullets and have achieved better consistentcy and accuracy with them over berrys plated rn. The berrys plated hps are very square and have to be loaded short in most of my nines but do group well. What is the bullet profile of the montana gold hps ? I don't know if it's the larger bearing surface of a square bullet or the concave bases of the RN bullets but both do well in my guns.

It was $325 for 3750. Too far into beer to math it out.

They are crazy accurate out of all of my nines.

I will post a pick when they hit the porch.

Single base shotgun powder. No published data for pistol, but don't think it's possible to overcharge. Very fluffy powder. Soft recoil.

Lots of competitors using this powder, check out Brian Enos forum for recipes.

Who do you guys order your bullets from? And although reloading doesn't save anyone money, would you say it allows you to shoot more for the same price as before? Just wondering because I have a Lee Classic Turret on it's way with a 4 die set for 9mm, 38/357's and will be reloading hopefully by July. Kinda broke so I have to space out all my equipment/components ordering.

Montana Gold is from whom I've ordered the most bullets (~10,000).

What do you mean reloading doesn't save any money? Bulk ordering is your friend, here.
Even if I had to buy once fired brass, I can reload 124gr JHP for $8.54/50 (that includes 2 Haz Mat fees: one for powder and one for primers)
Take the brass out of the equation, and I can reload them for $6.44/50.

You can't buy Jacketed Hollow Point anywhere for those kind of prices.

To address the "poor man" statement you offered up, shoot some cheap ammo with reloadable brass to collect some once fired while you are saving up for a 3,750 count case of bullets ($325.00), 10,000 primers ($305.00), and 8# of powder ($142.50).
