They just priced them according to the new news out there about 9mm pistols and ammo trying to be banned. Once that banning talk starts it's up, up, and away!;)
There is no "talk" about 9mm pistols and ammo trying to be banned

Its just more blabbering by that half wit in the white house

Nothing is going to be banned

There is talk but whether it gets anywhere is unknown. Never said anything "was" going to be banned. It (talk) has the ability to drive up prices if people think it may happen and start buying it up again.

The only "talk" about it is Biden who is having an argument with himself about it

    No one is seriously talking

I understand what you are saying, but it doesn't have to be serious to affect things. The news has been pumping it up and others will hear and may take action just based on that. The last rush wasn't "real" either but that didn't stop the shelves from emptying or prices skyrocketing.

My local Walmart hasn’t had shotgun shells for two years.
The ammo cabinet behind the counter has been downsized to 3’x4’ and last I looked, ten boxes of nobody cares about calibers. The days of 10 hundred packs of 12’s and 20’s are long gone.

In the 90’s I reloaded wadcutters for 9 cents a round.

Reloading is still definitely cheaper but primers are ~10 cents each right now not to mention all of the other components.

I need to source some lead SWCs and get my reloading back up and running. At least I have primers (and some powder).
