I only plan on building the lower myself, since I can customize with different triggers, buffer weights, stocks, grips, and trigger guard. I plan on just buying a BCM or rainier assembled upper. I don't think you save much from assembling your own upper.

I'm in the process of piecing together a build right now and if it weren't for the fact that I want to assemble as many of the parts as I can for the experience, I would do the same.
