If some of those had the dust cover closed (most of them do), it would be hard to distinguish them from real AR's, ignoring the plastic imitation acogs lol. Airsoft Forum > Post A Pic Of Your M4 Or M16 Varient I wonder if any of those eotechs are real, and if that noveske rail is actually noveske.
If someone pointed most of those at me, they would be dead. To hard to tell, and I don't think you would have a hard time convincing a grand jury otherwise with the deadly force issue.
Na, if someone is stupid enough to have balls with an airsoft gun, they deserve to be shot. You would have no problem claiming self defense.
Well that was a problem that popped up in California. Some dumb ass was stupid enough to point an airsoft "pistol" at a police officer. The cop shot the guy and he later died of the injuries. So the liberals over reacted (as normal) and came up with SB 798, which would have killed most of the airsoft industry in the US (as 95% + of the airsoft arms and accessories are imported through California) by making the arms clear or brightly colored. But how does that prevent that in the middle of the night or prevent a perp painting the gun black? I side with Darwin on this, if you are stupid enough to point a airsoft gun at a police officer, SWAT, etc., you deserve to die. Sounds harsh, but it is true.
Here are some ones in particular that are very realistic looking... for those who are too lazy to click links lol
It's crazy to see how far they take this stuff. I love how the bullets just go flying everywhere and nobody's calling their hits
Bah, pulling fake stuff has been around for a while: YouTube - ‪Falling Down ending *spolier‬‏ Sorry for not having the video embedded, but if anyone knows how I can do that AND make it pop up at the time I want........
One of my buddy's had one of things. I went over to his house and he said check this out and handed it to me I didn't realize it was fake until I tried to pull the charging handle. Evan the weight was close to the real thing with a full mag.
This just reinforces the fact that it's a good idea to get kids started young learning firearms safety and learning common (maybe more appropriately called "uncommon") sense. Occasionally I hear about kids running through neighborhoods with airsoft guns, or literally doing airsoft "drive bys" on friend's houses, or other nonsense that could go very wrong if a CHL holder or LEO happened to be there. Knowledge is always better than a lack thereof, so get 'em started young learning the right way, and it will hopefully be a non-issue when they get older. I have owned quite a few airsoft guns. Some of them are extremely realistic. They really make for awesome training tools, and they are a great way to get kids started young that maybe aren't ready for the real deal. My airsoft gas powered G19 cycles in the same manner as the real deal, and some of the real components like the mag release are actually interchangeable with the real stuff. Makes it awesome for force on force or other training opportunities.
