Dave Kopel has thankfully enlighted many of us who initially felt this Toomey/Mancin/SCHUMER !!! amendment was not onerous - to the"devil in the details" actually revealing that this measure is nothing less than a baited booby-trap for he 2A right.

That's the thing, the Schumer bill was dead in the water, wasn't going ANYWHERE. Then Gottleib comes around and gives it new life. Sounds to me like a sellout. Sounds to me like he got his hand caught in the cookie jar and now is trying to kick the can down the road. Why would you endorse a bill that isnt complete yet? His excuse of an amendment not getting added causing him not to support it smells like BS to me. I also like how he praises manchin and toomey for being such progun advocates, heres the part where i yawn and roll my eyes. I hope the ccrbka gets crushed for this bullshit.
