    I just ordered 3 ammo cans from Academy on Monday morning and just looked they will be here today from fed ex lol.

    Order 6 cans. 2 delivered today. Other 4 tomorrow. They aren't as heavily made as the Military version. But, for $10.00 much better than the plastic ones.

    Lighter I put 24 count mag foam in them already have 64 feet of metal cans man they get heavy

    Compared to the brass and lead in the ammo filling the can... the weight of steel vs. plastic cans is a moot point. However, strength and longevity issues do matter. Don't buy plastic if storing ammo. ;)

    If you're storing lightweight items then your needs may differ.
