Good job. My dad took me shooting turtles when we would feed catfish first when I was 6-7. I shot a single shot Winchester 22 from my grandpa. I got 4-5 turtles in 5 shots with 22 shorts. It was awesome. I'm glad you're getting another kid started.

You are absolutely right about that. I gave about 200 rounds of .22lr to a forum user last year who had just bought a rifle for his daughter and couldn't find any.

The other grandson got to shoot it today for the first time. He has Spina Bifida, and ADHD, so we've been training for awhile with airsoft, before we were comfortable with his range safety. He did well though, even shot the AR and the Mosin.
