A few months back I bought a VQ standard rifle (used) in 17HMR and mounted an older 2.5x - 8x 36mm Simmons scope on it:
After shooting that, I wanted one in .17 HM2, and I recently acquired this Deluxe model at a great price, but with a lousy, non-VQ stock. So I dropped it into a 10/22T stock, then mounted a Nikon 2x-7x 32mm on top. No surprise that it shoots just as good as it's bigger brother!
