I think it is correctly pronounced "Glock FO-TAY"..
I agree-- they usually are as versed in firearms safety and operation as those who bring their "gats" or "nine millis"--
I never thrust someone I haven't seen (or am positive from knowing) shoot any firearm.
That includes BB guns..
