Retired, Twice.
But not really that new. This is actually my second time living in Texas; I enjoyed it so much that I decided to retire here! I spent 20 years on active duty in the Army, and was stationed at Fort Hood for several years back in the '80s. I just retired for the second time (once from Active duty, and again as a Dept. of the Army civilian). We bought a house in Fort Bend County, and just arrived in the greater Houston metro area Tuesday night. We spent the past five years in South Korea, where I ran a Small Arms and Optics section for the Army.
We're busy trying to get the house livable and up to the wife's standards. Once all that is finished, I plan to become a range bum in my spare time! I hunt, shoot, reload, and tinker. Once I locate a source for primers and powder, look out!
