I recently had a husky type looking dog adopt my wife's doorstep while i'm in iraq. He's a good looking and gentle dog. But he doesn't really look all malamute to me. However, in order to register him on post we need to find the classfication breed to put him. Anyone out there able for me to email them a pic or two and them tell me perhaps what he is? I'd post on here..but..yea, i'm not too savy putting the pics on this board:)

Just call him a malamute mix and your covered. It's not like you'll be cheating the AKC or anything. Malamutes are nice dogs, unless you live in a hot climate. Be sure and shave him in the late Spring and Summer.

A vet could probaly help you out but, I would just call it a husky, no harm will come by it. I am sure the dog would be thrilled to have a new family. If you wanna shoot me over a pic I would take a look and offer my .02.
