    Recently found a holster i used to wear around as a kid, when i was packing the daisy SA. I think grandpa gave it to me for some reason or another.

    From what I can find, it's pre-ww2, 1911 holster, GI.
    On the back of it is stamped "BOYT - J.R.J" in standard type.
    No stamp or names written on the inside flap.

    The thing that has me perplexed is a "V" stamped just below and in front of the belt slits.

    Anyone seen this "V" before? Does it mean anything?
