I envisioned it just as a place for mods to post banned individuals.
I never thought about people "dogging" others, never entered my mind.
I would just like a thread that I can subscribe to so that I will be notified of a change to it.

Seriously though, I can see how having ones name immortalized on a Wall of Shame would be a lofty goal for a few, select members, who’s sense of humor is, for the sake of brevity, a bit..... peculiar.

I could care less. I have missed a couple of meltdowns, which I would have enjoyed. But you kind of know who is gonna get it, then one day you don't see them crapping on threads any more. The Elk gun thread was different. Didn't see that one coming.

The issue there could be that a lot of times we remove the content that the user was banned for, especially if it is a gross violation of certain forum rules.

I'm confused.
I merely asked for a link to the NEW thread which will be started to show banned members.

Not threads which caused them to be banned.

I don’t see a major issue with it.

I think it would be preferable, if possible, to have it set so all members can see the same thing mods do for banned members, a strike through the username. I don’t know the software that well so it may not be possible.

If the thread doesn’t work out it can be removed, so I don’t have much fear of unforeseen consequences that couldn’t be fixed by simply deleting the thread.
