WTB Anybody got a wood lathe?

I need a single tree turned.

I've got the hardware and the rotted original wood piece.
I'd prefer a piece of Hickory, oak would do.

You should probably include the length, as that will determine if the reader has a lathe big enough for the job.

34" overall length.
3" diameter at center for 3" each direction.
End caps are 2" inside diameter.
I could stand a bit over and hand fit with a rasp.

Seems to me a draw knife would give the texture / appearance you're likely after.

There's one hanging on the RR wall where I'm dining, I'll swipe & ship at actual cost.
