I was able to get a good deal and got a Defiance Ruckus Tactical Short Action that I will be building out for 308 right now, just waiting on the barrel and stock to arrive. I was able to handle someone else's Defiance Rebel action and was impressed which is why I pulled the trigger on Defiance. Extremely smooth action.
I am looking at purchasing a long action with magnum bolt face to build out as well. I have some reloading supplies for 7mm SAUM and think that will be the caliber I go for to begin with.
Has anyone had any experience with custom actions? (Bat, Kelbly, Defiance, Terminus, Impact, etc) I really like the Defiance actions but I am newer to bolt rifles and my comparison is just to Remington 700 stock actions and a Daniel Defense Delta 5 pro.
If anyone has first hand experience on some of these actions, potentially multiple ones to compare against, please let me know your thoughts.
