Not sure where Ryder Cup play was at. No sound at the bar I was at.

Pecan valley was an awesome course before it washed away years ago. Hadn't played it since. It made you have to be a great ball striker to play it well. I grew up playing Muni (AKA lions) in Austin with my dad. A short course that will absolutely eat your lunch if you spray balls. Used to play twice a week and got down to an 8 handicap, and played in a lot of money tournaments. Got fucking sick of people not playing by the rules. Your ball went in a divot? Waaah, just hit down on it. You can't bump it. You hit a tee shot you can't find? Too bad, go back to the tee. Spike mark in your line, live with it. Life ain't fair, suck it up. To me, it was all about integrity. Too many people didn't have it.
