Just recently got into starcraft. . . my brother in law got into watching videos of professional players. Lots of stragety, more than most other RTS games I've played.

I competed when it first came out although I was never a top ranked player. Focused most of my attention on League of Legends when I was heavy into all of that. I own the game still but rarely play.
