Damn that looks like a good time. I wouldn't know where to begin shooting at that range. The longest I have ever been able to shoot is 200 at the range. That's impressive.

    700 yards??

I'd need a scope the size of Mt. Palomar's telescope just to see the target.

    Nice shooting.

I'm guessing you guys that reload get much more consistency than just bulk ammo like I use.. I am just happy to hit 4 MOA at 100 yards ;-)
You can do almost as well with factory match ammo. We can fine tune a load and get a little better accuracy. The big difference is we get about 50 rounds for roughly the same price as your 20.

The savings get much greater as you move into the exotic rounds.

Besides the savings and increase in accuracy, reloading is a fun hobby by itself. Also I have learned so much more about shooting and ballistics since I started reloading than I would have without doing it.

I've bought some match ammo. This rifle loves it. 100 yd accuracy that I've yet to duplicate. Velocity wouldn't make 700 yds without going subsonic and destabilizing.
Other than those factory match rounds (9 boxes of 20) I don't recall running any factory ammo through this gun.

Like Dawico said. Reloading is a great hobby. Sometimes I shoot just to empty some brass.

    Nice shooting
I wouldn't mind an ammo for range time trade

I have an LMT in 308 that I might hit 400 yards with, but I am impressed with 223 out to 700.

69 gr SMK or Nosler Custom Comp bullets with CFE223 or Varget gives me .5 MOA. Rolling your own makes a big difference for most people. But barrel, glass, trigger and the shooter is also very important.
