ARANSAS COUNTY - The Aransas County Sheriff's Department said it will be up to the District Attorney to determine whether to pursue any charges in a deadly shooting early Sunday morning.
Investigators said 29-year-old Leonard Minns showed up at a home south of Rockport and started pounding on the front door.
The homeowner, who had a shotgun, said that Minns pushed his way in and the homeowner ordered Minns to leave several times. When he didn't leave, the homeowner shot and killed him. The Aransas County Sheriff said the two men used to be best friends, but had gotten into some sort of feud over the past few years
