I try to do some basic curls with dumbbells every day. Also, some "skull crushers" to tone up the triceps. Push-ups are also good. It doesn't take a lot of weight or repetitions to see improvement.

Rubber bands. Start with the 5lb, step on the middle, grab the ends and raise your arms straight out to shoulder height. Use both arms to stay balanced. First with palms facing, then palms up, then palms down. Do it in front, at 45 degrees and arms out. It is one of the exercises I did after shoulder surgery. Damn sure helps. Get stonger bands as it gets easier.

You can get round, flat or loops at walmart, academy or dick's. Handle for the round ones help a lot too. Put eye bolts in the wall at different points too for more variation.

Is it just after work you have problems? It could be if you are at a desk you slouch all day and by the end your shoulder and neck muscles are tired already. Happens to me really bad sometimes. You don't really notice it until you try to do something else. You might want to try stretching breaks. It helps me a lot.

Focus on your shoulder musculature.....shoulder stabilizes when you are holding an object up!

You need to work on endurance more than strength so that muscles can support you throughout a long day and then while shooting...so your exercises should focus on lighter weight and high number of reps, also work on posture (Pilates style exercises are a good way to go with this) because without good core strength and posture you wont get very far!

    Ok, that'll be $75 ;)

What is your age? Are you shooting a semi 50bmg or a 10/22?

Any injuries to your rotators elbow wrist shoulder?

What do you do at work?

Stick to your program. It takes a while. Theres nothing you can do to speed it up. Just stay at it.

Id address the weight of the rifle. 10/22s can be lightened up to below 5lbs.

Bushmaster Carbon 15. 10rd mag (ammo=weight). Good comp (cause its a light basturd)

Look into slings that help you hold the rifle steady.

There is something that can speed it up...but he don't want to do that.

Military press, front, and side deltoid raises. Don't need a lot of weight for the deltoids
