Assualt Weapons ban in the news

Lastnight the news was on in the background and the talking heads said something abut the AWB and where it is at in its process. The main talking head said that it is pretty much certain it will NOT pass due to Republicans and even democrats voting against it.. Said it was a major setback for Obama.

This was on local Houston news, I found it odd that they reported it the way they did, almost agreeing that it shouldn't be passed.

Nah, just framing a political loss as something else. Had it passed it would have been a much different tone.
