    The fact is a non-immigrant foreign national is prohibited from possessing guns/ammo and thus also participating in a shooting competition if they do not meet one of the exemptions. Whether police/ATF are there does not change this fact. Major matches do check before allowing registration.

    And one of those exemptions is being invited to a shooting competition. Another is getting a hunting license. Back to the original question. There is no limit to the amount of ammunition one may possess if one is legally qualified to possess ammunition. Buy a couple pallets and put them in a self store in Texas.

    Non-immigrant foreign nationals cannot possess firearms or ammo except certain circumstances. Hunting license and a match are two.


    Back to the original question. There is no limit to the amount of ammunition one may possess if one is legally qualified to possess ammunition.

    If you can legally possess a firearm, there is no limit to how much ammo you can possess in Texas.
