Great little handheld, it doen't do quite as good as my PVS-14 on cloudy, moonless nights, but it blows gen1 out of the water. I got it lightly used and only used it a few times before stars aligned and I got a helmet and a PVS-14.

In short, it's great for naving to a stand innthe dark or seeing what's going bump in the night without breaking the bank.

It is orders of magnitude better than gen1 crap and right up there with early gen3.
