    Up. This is a 7.62x39mm caliber rifle.

    Note: Flash hider is removable. Barrel is threaded.

    I never did try steel cased ammo. It never jammed on me with brass though, although I did not shoot more than 50 rounds.

    Will it reliably feed steel ammo? Only complaint I have heard about them is this, and it is pretty consistent with all of the online reviews I have read.

    Oddly enough I don’t think I know anybody that owns one.

    Oddly enough I don’t think I know anybody that owns one.

    Mine does, I think that might be an older issue, mine was made about 7 years ago when I bought it new. If the OPs is newer, shouldn't be a problem. The only issue I know many of them have had was the rear sight loosening as you fire. I had to use some blue loctite to keep it secured.

    Mine has reliably fired a variety of brass, but I have never used steel case. Don't know why it wouldn't.
