In a Leftist wet dream, Australia has deployed their military to arrest citizens who violate their Covid lockdown despite one of the lowest Covid rates in the developed world and an average of one death per day linked to the virus.

The citizens are now seeing the follow up to the loss of their high capacity rifles and other restrictive socialist policies. They are being aided by Google who is censoring many of the news feeds coming out of that nation.

I really hate to see that happen to a beautiful country like that. I hope the populace gets smart and gives the military the "salute" it deserves.....in the back of the head.
I think Australia is fighting some of the same, or similar battles domestically that we are.

I know a few Australians personally, and they are pretty cool people. Sort of like Texans with a funny accent.

And yet, here they are. The Aussies I have known are cool but there must be many leftists there too. Enough to ruin the place.
That would be my thoughts as well. Texas is, or has been traditionally, or historically a very conservative state, but when you look at some of the larger cities like Austin, Dallas, or Houston, and there is a large group of leftist Democrats in those cities and they vote left.

So, we need to nuke the cities?

A good lesson to learn from this is that these states where this is occurring over there are the liberal havens. The more wild part like the Northern Territory isnt doing any of this according to my friend from over there. The NT is like rural west Texas

Their laws are based on former British rulers.
Instead of a bill of rights they have a bill of Ought's'.
It is styled that they ought to have the right to free speech and such. Since they should or ought to have free speech the government decided it would decide when they actually could have a right and when they just ought to,
    This is the result.

My thoughts are much of the politics of Australia are centered or derived from the heavily populated cities in Australia. That the further away from those areas, and the politics become much more conservative and rights and freedoms from government oppression become much more important.

In many ways, I think Australia parallels America in many ways.

Australia is like Texas; 80% of the population is in a few large metro areas, mostly on the coasts. These urban areas are european socialist much like England. The semi rural and rural Aussies are indeed much like us and are disgusted with the boot licking city dwellers.

I also personally think that the Australian government wants to be viewed by europe and the US as a major world player so they are going to extremes to one up the other nations and demonstrate their commitment to the Covid crap show.

Not too mention tons of people over there didnt hand in shit back in the 90s. It was once again the city queers that by and large complied. Itll be the same thing here in the US when it gets to that point

Let's call a spade a spade...I prefer the term "sodomites"; that really pisses people off, but I just refer them to the Bible for clarification.

Sometimes, although I doubt it, all this craziness around the world over this virus makes me think these screwball politicians and tyrants in different governments know or at least strongly & truly suspect that this virus is going to mutate into an extinction bug kind of a thing and they are not telling us. I mean as in they have inside information they are not sharing. Then again, they could never keep that a secret, they are almost all blabbermouths. So, as I said, I doubt it; yet, I still do wonder about it.

Nukes do not seem to be the answer to anything. Too many around the world would be released, so if you want to think you are going to live and bug out or hold in place and be one of 'The 100' - then allow me to quote Ralph Kramden:

Nice to have known you if it goes full scale WWIII. If it does go that way, this is my plan:

    I'm a rambler I'm a gambler
I'm a long ways from home
And if you don't like me well leave me alone
I'll eat when I'm hungry and I'll drink when I'm dry
And if moonshine don't kill me I'll live till I die

As for Australia, good allies it seems but we have enough to worry about here than for me to worry about them and their Rona V rules. America first!
