I'm a 45 guy so most of my pistols are 45... I loved it, and I actually did carry it a few times even though it was a beautiful equinox...How did u like the 220 carry? I dont have a 45 in my arsenal. Have a p239, p320, p226 and now s p229.

Yea ive read that the grips are thick. Prolly b to me aswellI'm a 45 guy so most of my pistols are 45... I loved it, and I actually did carry it a few times even though it was a beautiful equinox...
That said, I don't think any of the equinox guns make good carry guns, the blackwood grips are THICK, way thicker than the rosewood it seemed. Great range guns and show pieces, but they unless you have large hands, mag drops can be a little slow.
The P227 was an exception - it had the e2 grips, which was kind of a disgrace (along with lack of machining on the top of the slide. Main appeal was I was in CA and it was almost unobtanium at the time.
You'll love the Equinox. The only thing it'll need is a SRT, and if you fancy, the short reach trigger as well.
Hey no problem post awaynot trying to whore out your thread...
it was a somewhat rare gun to combine the 3.9"bbl w/equinox package.
Favorite part of equinox guns are the sights. Rear tritium with fron F/O View attachment 129468

Sorry for the double picFinally went to my local gun store to pick up my new purchase.
Looks like i will have to take a dremmel and trim part of the grip, so the slide catch will release... View attachment 129687 View attachment 129688

When you press to release the slide it wont disengage Nd release the slide. I thought it might be the g10 grip. I had to do this with my p239 g10 grips.wait whats wrong with the slide catch?

I just have to ask, because you never know, but your pushing the slide release down, towards the magwell, right? Not in, towards the slide? When you press to release the slide it wont disengage Nd release the slide. I thought it might be the g10 grip. I had to do this with my p239 g10 grips.
I sanded it down but it still wont release, unless u pull back on the slide a little
