    US Navy here. We stopped off at Subic Bay when I was in the Navy - 1974-1977. Lot of drinkin' back then with some easy women and lots of beer. Ohhh the good old days!

    The women and beer part hasn't changed. Just that the Naval base isn't here any more. We are moored in front of a USNS Spearhead class fast transport catamaran though. I believe it is the USNS Millinocket. Very speedy looking.

    WOW... no shit river anymore? We would pitch quarters into shit river and the kids would swim under and they got to keep the money. Oh, and plenty of Sam Migell.

    I don't recommend swimming here. As far as I know, shit river is still there and still lives up to its name although I don't know if coins are still tossed.
