So yet another issue with my Bauer automatic .25 acp.
Today while out shooting.....I decided to run a box of rounds through the Bauer. About 30 rounds in it had a failure to eject. Now this gun usually operates really well.....I have 2 factory magazines and they just work. So today when it failed to eject......I started looking to see what the issue was and found the ejector was gone. That means the little pin, spring and ejector are just.....gone. I couldn't find them anywhere. I went online to Numrich and $85 later I have the parts on order.
Is there any secret or special knowledge required to install the small spring, ejector and pin? How can I make sure that pin doesn't back out? Can I use some Loctite on the pin? It is just pushed in I believe. Should I "stake" that little pin in?
Thoughts??
Thanks in advance
