Anyone here have any experience with hunting black bear? Specifically, I'm looking for advice on where exactly to aim at a bear. I've done plenty of reading on the topic, but there really isn't a whole lot of good information and a lot of the illustrations that I've seen contradict each other as far as organ placement. Heart and lungs moving all over the place and changing size. I realize that the boiler room is generally farther back than on a deer, so going for a traditional deer shot would likely just hit brisket and piss the bear off.

As best as I can tell, rear of the shoulder around the horizontal midline of the bear seems to be a good start. I'm guessing a double lung shot would be preferable to trying for a heart shot
