Beeville?

Anyone here from Beeville (or nearby) that could field a question about land in that area for me?

Looking at some land out towards the airfield off 202. Poesta Creek area, just west of the airfield. Any idea how often that creek has water, whether it floods, and the general condition of the land (game, soil, etc.)? Trying to figure out if it's worth driving down to see.

All the creeks were running last week. That area is prett flat, lots of farms.

There's a piece of land there on the north side of 202 that's pie-shaped, with Poesta creek being the back border. It's just west/northwest of the trailer park, "behind" two or three houses. Seriously considering it because it looks like it'd be a great place to build a house and there MIGHT even be utilities running down that road because of the field and prison.

Yeah, looks like a nice spot. Looks like a lot of brush all the way to the creek. Americana Arms is just a couple blocks away from there too. Not sure how the trailer park would be for neighbors though.

Oh right now may be a good time to go and see how far the water got.

I could put the house far enough back to not worry about the neighbors, and from Google Earth, the trailer park looks well tended. Probably quite a few TDCJ employees. It's on our list, but it's also on the very high end of our price range.
