Any shops around Houston that are able to fit a custom recoil pad without it looking janky? I have a Beretta A400 that I’ve used once in 8-9 years. Opened the box yesterday and put it in the gun rack for 5 hours. Went to move it to the safe and noticed the recoil pad shit the bed. Read online it’s a pretty common failure if you get bug spray or solvent on them. I’ve shot a total of 5 shells through it and didn’t clean it so it’s not a solvent or big spray issue. Called Beretta and they said it’s a wear item and $54 replacement. Asked if they made any modifications to the new recoil pads and she said no but they are lasting longer than before. so I don’t want to spend $54 for it to keep happening.
