Best. Credit Union? DFW

Looking for a great Credit Union in Fort Worth/Haslet. Local is fine, prefer something with a bit more "spread" but we'll take whatever works.

Preferably a CU with great products, rates, and service. Looking to build and strengthen our credit and ultimately get our first home loan spring/summer 2017.

Currently banking with USbank that doesn't have a presence in TX yet.

Not a cu but a Texas bank. I use them.

Founded by a Texas Ranger. The one in Austin has a 4'x6' Republic of Texas money note. Sam Houston doing his,~I'm a badass and I know it~ gaze.

I've never had a single issue. Two 10% CDs cooking there as well.
