I've shopped online, looking and looking, and I cannot find a better price for Winchester white box .45ACP FMJ (aka practice ammo) than Walmart. I've read comments here and there hinting that Winchester and Federal both sell a lower grade product to Walmart, but frankly, I can't imagine those companies putting their brands at risk by selling a lesser product under their own names. Yeah, if it were sold under a Walmart house brand or no name, maybe.
Anyway, I pay $31.99 for a box of 100 WWB .45acp FMJ at my local Walmart, and I can't even come close to that online so far. Does anyone (1) have any evidence other than heresay that Walmart is selling "sweepings" or factory seconds??? and (2) a better price for .45 ammo than Walmart's? It is pretty expensive to practice with a 45...of course not practicing could be more expensive.
BTW, it is expensive, but it sure is fun to shoot those big bullets.
