Been meaning to visit Brazos bend state park and see some gators. My work is on the way there I believe
Go do it NOW, not next week. There may be some late season mating and as the water is warming they become more active. Great place to see them.

Of course, they're cold blooded. I can go out in the winter and not see one, then go out in the summer and see 10 in the same area.

So then why go now and not a bit later on when there are more lol?
Because it's to hot for ME in the dead of summer.

ETA: by summer I mean anything past April. I think March-May is mating and June-August is when the eggs hatch.
