Happy Thanksgiving to all. Anyone picked up one of the Blue Line pump shotguns? NRA reviews say they're decent action/finish, etc. Given their sub $200 price tag, it might be worth chopping one down for an SBS. any info on real interchangeability with Rem 870?

Appears to be a copy of the Remington 870 pump shotgun. Now how close did they copy the 870? Good question. Being a copy, whether it's close enough for parts to interchange between the two, or parts and accessories for an 870 will work is a huge guess.

Personally, with an MSRP of $203, it might be worth taking a chance to find out.

Looks like a close copy of the 870 - but in the $200 playground, I'm going with the Mossberg Maverick 88 - made here in Texas, can be found at Academy or most any other shop for $199 (maybe a tad more at an LGS) - its not a Turkish or Chinese made import. The Maverick 88 shares a lot of parts with the Mossberg 500s, aside from trigger group.
