The market has hit recent highs, but the models say it’s all heading downhill in the near future. And the investment bankers are hedging their bets.…. Budweiser and most other stocks are more likely at the mercy of emotions and indirect factors between now and November.

Buying low and selling higher benefits the stock buyer.
The buyer benefits only if the stock goes up AND the buyer sells, or if dividends are paid.

But the company benefits whether the stock goes up or down. The cost of the shares can be used to get its message of inclusion out and recover market share.

Well I'm in now we will wait and watch
Tik Tok Tik Tok. I do shit on instinct alot and when I get the feeling it usually works out.
just out of curiosity, why so bullish on this stock? It has done horribly for years, and not good even since the start of this thread. What reason is there to believe it’s being priced wrong?

They just sold it back to their relatives.

It's a public company. BUD is the symbol.

AB Inbev sold some brandss to a Canada firm, but the original Busch family brands have not sold to anyone AFAIK. "BUD" is what it trades at on NYSE, but it is still AB inbev company.

Buy the rumor; sell the news. Without researching: Feb 6th something happened. Was that when the big labor contract was settled internally? Dunno

Long term....safe to bet: more people... will drink more hooch, so should be fine to hold long term?

Look how many panic-sold out during covid 2020. Sure woulda been profitable to have that game plan ahead of time.

Anheuser-Busch InBev owns 630 Brands in 150 countries. Still a good stock to own long term with dividend, hiccup with Bud Light not withstanding.

Cool story bro, but has nothing to do with your claim it was sold back the Busch family.

“They just sold it back to their relatives
I was tongue in cheek. The transaction of 2008 where AB and InBev merged to create a new company was not quite that simple with lots of lawsuits and shareholder jockeying. It is the shareholders who own the company, ultimately.

Stock peaked on 09/01/2016 at $127.

Has been a 50% downhill slide last 8 years. Horrible stock to own short term, long term or anything else. Good luck with your investing!

The stock pays a good dividend which could make it a good investment based on your own situation. I personally don't own any but thank you for your well wishes. Now back to talking about firearms and shooting which is why I'm here.

0.96% is not a good investment unless your situation is to not make much money, while losing 50% of your investment.

Perhaps you should put out a newsletter with your stock choices, and the rest of us could get rich employing the George Costanza (do the opposite) strategy.
