Had to wait a while, but I've ordered a Choate Tactical stock for my Stevens 200 .308 with center feed. They finally are making stocks for them now. 159.00
This stock is designed for a detachable mag and I'll order those parts too. Can't wait until it gets in. Then it will be an eight round mag bolt gun. At 3 lbs 11 oz, it is a far cry lighter than their Sniper or varmint stocks. I'll get a machinist to cut some vent holes in the forestock for me. Now for a medium 22' barrel. Then a little accurizing, and wham, a new rifle.

Got the stock and it is on but I have to get the mag compartment and have it attached to the action. Been real busy with work.
