Hard to believe a state that is going broke and never had slavery in their state is considering reparations. The Dems are holding up Money Give-Away 2 because Trump is resisting because much of the money is bail outs for failing Dem controlled entities (such as Cali). Cali seems to be falling apart and their idiot Governor is begging folks not to flee and they want to dole out bucks to people who never suffered from slavery. Hard for a dumb ol' country boy to figger.

For a State that had nothing to do with slavery, or really sending troops to the Civil War, and paying reparations is complete lunacy!
California is already in such dire straits, I don't see how they could think of, or actually pay such things.
The State of California would have to spend billions of money in reparations. That just might make the State go broke. Then the rest of the U.S. would have to bail them out.
I say let them drown. I'm tired of them, and New York holding our country hostage in D.C.
