Back in April of 2007, me and my girlfriend at the time got into an arguement. We were living in Colorado. Well, the cops came,and I was arrested. I was initially charged with Telephone obstruction, harassment and false imprisonment...all misdemeanors. Went to court on monday, everything was dropped, except telephone obstruction. Got a deferred sentence, some classes and fines. Later that year, around August I believe, I got a ticket for another misdemeanor( false reporting). This revoked my deferred sentence and I did 6 months in county. Before that I was going to my classes and everything...just had a real stupid time in my life. Since I got out in December of '07 I have not gotten into any trouble at all other that one speeding ticket. I am wondering now if I would be able to purchase a firearm in Texas(where I am from, and now live)? Thanks in advance for the help.
