Frankly, I will never do business with those daily deal sites anymore. I have run 2 ads for my own business through Living Social and one other company. Even had a Groupon rep beating down my door to do a deal with them. The way those companies do business can be very dangerous for small businesses. In fact, some have even gone out of business because of the exorbitant fees charged (35-50% on a product/service that has already been discounted the minimum of 50% = you're left with ~25% of your original sales price), and the ridiculous payment policies (payment delays where you only get paid weeks or even a month after the ad ran).
