Some don't know the history. Short version - They put out an intriguing but flawed pistol that was recalled in 2013. They didn't even announce replacements until 2016. In short, they screwed over a lot of people.

They did, though the replacements generally didn't show up. AFAIK, everybody eventually got paid. Eventually.I thought they either offered a replacement or a refund?
The year is 1990. I go to Rangemaster - "Hey Tom, I got a G17. Not on approved list, can you make an exception?". "No. Ain't no one here gonna carry a POS plastic gun.". A couple years after I left in 99, Glock 40 was issued across the board.Buy known good brands.
Steer away from unknowns.
