Got a call from FIL to check Academy had a Taurus PT140 at a good price. So, got the wife to go with me and check it out. Got there she said it felt top heavy, ok lets look at other pistols. Didn't like the Glock the way it felt, same with S&W MP 40, SA XD 9 and the Ruger SR9. Well, lets try the Sig P250 compact 40 and it felt good in her hand and she seemed to like it overall.

Go figure one of the more expensive guns in the cabinet and she likes it. Will be doing some window/handson shopping before the final decision is made. So what are your thoughts on the Sig P250 compact 40?

    Thanks Deans

The Sig 250 seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it gun for most folks, I am of the opinion if I want a Sig, I want a handful of metal... If I want a poly gun I will buy a Glock or XD.... just my

got rid of a p250 compact in 9mm,didn't like it at all. the trigger sucks and for a 9mm the muzzle flip is excessive. although i have shot the sig pro and love it. go figure.
