CORPUS CHRISTI — Corpus Christi police responded to two stabbings on Sunday.
Officers were called to Bay Area Hospital emergency room at 4:17 p.m. A 28-year-old man walked in with non life-threatening stab wounds to his upper back, neck and shoulders. Police said the man refused to give them any information about how he got the stab wounds.
At 6:53 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Whitaker. Witnesses told officers that two brothers, 42 and 49, were arguing and then the older brother stabbed the younger brother in the abdomen. The older brother fled before police arrived and the younger brother was transported to Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial with non life-threatening injuries, according to police. Officers said the victim did not cooperate with the investigation.
