Changing the OS on a Laptop

Ubuntu 10.10 is my primary OS at work. But I have a dual boot of XP for if I really need windows but I can do 99% of my work in Linux.

I've been on some Ubuntu since Edgy Eft, iirc. Love the OS but I'm currently running only Windows 7 because I can't bring myself to toss Ubuntu on my Alienware laptop and that's all I've been using. I highly recommend it, though! Great support community for it, too!

Ubuntu is awesome for laptops, especially if you have limited resources.

I got it on my older HP laptop.
works like a champ.

But I hardly ever boot that beast anymore. Typically, I use one of our macs instead of the PC.
