Heard the same thing myself. A friend of mine knows the owner of ctd and they were talking about it. Apparently right after newtown he had everything pulled off the shelves and stored in the warehouse till there was enough hysteria that he could charge whatever he wanted.

CTD is dead to me I will never spend another dime there again and yes I realize that doesn't mean much to them and yes I know what capitalism is but at the same time there is a difference between capitalism and straight up robbing your customers.
