With Sta-bil, 12 months. According to Sta-bil, any fuel with lose volatility after 12 months, even if treated. You could double the Sta-bil (for storage up to 2 years), and it'll last better than untreated, but still will lose volatility.

Crappy old econ car = 40ish mpg. I have no idea how much gas costs nor have I for years. Glad to hear it's cheaper but the conspiracy theorist in me doesn't trust it, lol.

I had a discussion with a oil man that leases land for drilling. He said the USA is no longer dependent on oil imports. He should know. We export a lot of natural gas. Oil drilling in my area is going through the roof again.

I just got back from NY. Gas was averaging 3.50 there. This 2.85 stuff in TX is nice.

A lot of that difference is taxes.

When I was in Maryland this summer, gas was about 30 cents more expensive...times 20 gallons is an extra $6.00 per tank.
