Until evening of Jan 15 this year (just a few more weeks), an organization is matching every wreath sponsored. A good friend runs this wreath funding all year as well as the placing of them in the cemetery with an army of over 1,000 volunteers each year. I hear it's an awesome experience and Larry has led it for years very efficiently and fast. We go every Christmas morning to see my wife's Dad (Marine WW II) and place flowers and can be pretty emotional just driving thru the place. A few years there wasn't enough wreaths for every soldier.
Anyway, if you'd like to sponsor a wreath (or more), please visit the site below before Jan 15 so your sponsorship will be doubled. They are projecting 59,000 wreaths will be needed this year at DFW so that every soldier gets one for Christmas.
