Snopes says "not enough info to say it averted a mass shooting", even though three people shot before the criminal was stopped.

Had this been a white guy with an "assault AR-47" nasty black rifle {note sarcasm}, I guarantee you the media would have labeled it a mass shooting.

For those of us FROM the Carolinas, the title is a bit misleading. 'Sparkle' county is in South Carolina, not NC. Don't want to get the two mixed up when talking barbecue, either
